The
motivating force which promoted the forming of
collegiate fraternities, and which is no doubt
responsible for their increasing strength today, is the
conviction of their membership that the educated man has
special ties attracting him to others of the same
interests, whom he likes above other associates.
If one were to search for the basic reasons for the
formation, continuation and growth of fraternity life,
one could not ignore the fact that there is a basic
instinct which causes "like to seek like."
This is an exquisite basis for fellowship and the
keystone of all fraternities.
The MALIK Fraternity
Inc. is a brotherhood founded with a strong
conviction towards social responsibility on the part of
college men and a yearning for a common fellowship
resting on a solid Afrikan foundation.
